Grand River Rubber is proud to be the only lathe cut gasket manufacturer recognized on the Interstate Milk Shippers (IMS) Certified Manufacturers List of Single Service products. IMS was established by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to ensure manufacturers and milk shippers are in compliance with the FDA and U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) guidelines. The Single Service Products list specifically classifies companies who manufacturer single-service containers and closures for milk and milk products.

Companies which have been certified by Milk Sanitation Rating Officers (SROs) as having attained the identified milk sanitation compliance and enforcement ratings are included on the IMS List. Ratings and certifications are based on compliance with the requirements of the USPHS/FDA Grade "A" Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) and were made in accordance with the procedures set forth in the latest revision of the Methods of Making Sanitation Rating of Milk Shippers and the Certifications/Listings of Single Service Containers and/or Closures for Milk and/or Milk Products Manufacturers (MMSR).

In order to remain on the IMS list, Grand River must receive a Sanitation Compliance Rating of eighty or above. Our facility is routinely audited by the USPHS/FDA to ensure our sanitation processes meet industry guidelines and are worthy of an IMS listing. The IMS list sanitation compliance and enforcement ratings of Interstate Milk Shippers is published quarterly and accessible on the FDA website. Grand River Rubber & Plastics has been included on the IMS list for 3 years.

Grand River Rubber is pleased to be included on the IMS and provide high quality custom lathe cut gaskets and seals catered to this niche market for our customers.
